Sometimes referred to as the Vampire Facial

What we actually use is platelet rich plasma (PRP). These are stem cells that are extracted from your blood. Applied after microneedling(repeatedly piercing the skin with tiny, sterile needles), PRP can reduce the appearance of sun damage and give skin a more youthful look.

Vampire or PRP facials will either involve injecting the plasma into your skin with a very thin needle, or microneedling the skin, and then massaging in the plasma afterwards."

Frequently asked questions

1) What is Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler?

Filler is an injectable gel which is derived from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar in the body. When hyaluronic acid combines with water found in the body, the result is an immediate restoration of volume in the injected area, while maintaining a healthy, hydrated appearance. The smooth consistency of the gel allows for a soft, natural look after the treatment is complete.

2) What areas are commonly treated with Hyaluronic Acid Filler?

Smile lines; marionette lines; lower face; lips; cheeks; tear troughs, temporal fossae.

3) How long will the filler last?

Due to the cross-linked nature of the molecules in dermal filler, the product is able to remain in the body for nine months to a year. Over time, the filler is absorbed by the body, returning the treated area to its original, pre-injected appearance.

4) What are the side effects?

Minor side effects may include redness, edema, tenderness and slight bruising at the injection site which will generally disappear anywhere between 3-14 days. It is important to note that the product is removable post injection if required.

5) Is the procedure painful?

The procedure itself is relatively painless thanks to Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which is directly built into the product. Although the Lidocaine is quick to numb the treatment area, ice or numbing cream may be used to further ease any discomfort throughout the procedure.
