Garlic Basil Marinara Sauce

GARLIC BASIL MARINARA SAUCE
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
4 large tomatoes
200 grams celery
1 tablespoon chopped basil
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons onion, chopped fine
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 ounces of organic tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Using a food processor, puree tomatoes to desired smooth consistency. Pour puree into a saucepan, adding broth, tomato paste, garlic, basil, oregano and onion. Cook slowly for approximately 45 minutes, stirring often. Add salt and cayenne pepper during simmer to taste. To achieve desired consistency, add additional water to sauce mixture while cooking.
